Singlecell: Charging for the last inch

    I remember reading somewhere some time ago, that when ISPs were asked to release log information to the police, not only did they refuse, but it transpired that there's so much logging information, that it was binned pretty quickly.

    I'm not saying that's the case behind the scenes, but that's a serious amount of data to push through - particularly sniffing for the user agent in the packets that pass through the ISP.

    That said, if a phone operator calls me up and asks me to stop it, then I probably will, though for me, I already pay for 'unlimited fair use' data (I only ever surf, mail and terminal) so if I want to access that data in a slightly different way - I'm gunna ;-)
